As you may have noticed, updates have been slow on this site.
Morgan Spurlock watch will stay up indefinitely (hopefully to provide an alternative view on his work to anyone doing a Google or MSN search), but I'll probably draw back on the updates if and until Spurlock is in the news again.
In the meantime, check my personal blog, The Agitator, for daily analysis and commentary on obesity, personal freedom, and other Nanny State issues.
Ya, but no comments on the main site?

Writing for Fox news? Are you bosses happy about your attacks on Spurlok?
How much money and gifts are your getting from McDonalds? I bet you dont meet up with them in their franchises, rather nice expensive french restaurants.
You dont like the Nanny State? Volunteer for Irak.

Why so much hatred for this guy? I don't get it. I wouldn't waste a website oon this. Can't you be a little more creative?

Although you are not "updating" this site as frequently, after coming across it I still had to ask a question. Have you read Spurlock's book "Fast Food and the Supersizing of America" or did you ONLY watch the documentary? In his book he covers a much wider array of topics dealing with health in this country other than just eating a lot of McDonalds. I must admit that even after seeing the documentary I wondered what his intentions for the whole project really were, but then I read his book and have learned much more. I find your website to be incredibly biased as a result of either being extremely uninformed and naive about Spurlock or because you are getting paid in some form to cloud the issue. I am glad to know you write for the Fox News Website, I will be sure to keep this website and your uninformed Spurlock opinions in mind the next time I come across your column so as not to be uninformed myself.

Yes, it is unfortunately a bad idea for the first thing that comes up on the screen to be "I work for FOX News" I was going to send you a hate mail myself, but I decided to read on. After going through all your posts, I can see that you really are trying to make a relevent point. I now realize that I sort of just immediately fell under the wing of Morgan Spurlock without thinking and feel kind of foolish right now. Still, what he is doing isn't all that bad, I just thought super size me was kind of funny. You have to admit, a show like 30 days could, in the right light, do some good at exposing some issues. I am pleased to see that at least someone at Fox News, how should I put this, I'll still allow to have speaking privilages. Also do not be so quick to downgrade inferences to economic systems that characteristically cause rednecks to start yelling. Democratic Socialism can do some good. Both Teddy and Franklin Roosevelt really shaped up this country with their trust-busting and New Deal government controls. But I still hate Wal-Mart and feel like I'm entering the ghetto when I go in there.

it is intresting to me that spurlock seems to be getting a lot of hatred from you when at the same time you are not refrencing the work done by ERIC SCHLOSSER in fast sood nation or pointing out that spurlock is not alone in this questioning of corporate america. you rail against the nanny state and accuse spurlock of distorting the truth then please provide me with the evidence of exactly where his arguments are contradicted and by what people and in this day and age more importantly who is paying them. the second amendment of the united states garuntees you the right to do this exercise it or dont. but do not lambaste an indivdual for exercising that same right.
ps. i would love to see a clearly argued scientific proof that eating fast food is no making america obbesse. till that time happy munching.

A waste of time and money is this site by the looks. What does Morgan Spurlock do that pisses you off?
Burgers ARE shit if you too many. A massive amount of Yanks ARE fat as. From eating shit food.
The fact that we are unable to find that tool bin Laden is to be parodied, if this is what he is doing in his latest film.
You work for Fox News, which is a load of old Bollocks anyway, so I'll take whatever you type with a grain of Salt.

Hey,
I have a great link for a video profile on the documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock. Best known for his 2004 breakout film Super Size Me, he was recently at the SXSW film festival promoting his Oscar nominated film Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden? Filmed in the Austin City Limits Studio, Spurlock talks about filmmaking, blogging and interactivity between the two mediums. Here is a link to the video from the website of the show Docubloggers on the PBS station KLRU in Austin, Texas. Enjoy!

Why not write a book about how wonderful fast food is for us? Do you have a book out? Only creating this thread is really just leeching off of Spurlock's ideas. It's time for you to get creative and produce something real.

Look, we trade every day out there with hustlers, deal-makers, shysters,
con-men. That's the way businesses get started. That's the way this
country was built.

I guess I'm just missing your argument. Your upset because you perceive this as a conspiracy theory against capatalism, and that Mc Donalds is unfairly portrayed, fast food is good for you, and binge drinking either never happens at colleges, or isnt at all bad for you? What is it exactly that he is doing thats wrong. I mean I see alot of speculation and theory, but no real evidence or supporting information that can be verified. If he's lying then he deserves it but your not really making a convincing, or really factual based argument. I have to reiterate, I'm not even making the total connection about what is wrong with these statements. I dont think America is going to die from eating healthier, being more eco friendly, not binge drinking, etc. Just, you know illuminate me here is all I am asking.

Spurlock's shows are very interesting to watch. We watched a few episodes of 30 Days and found it interesting, even if not all of the scenarios really made sense.
